Tomorrow is Independence Day and the biggest day of the 2008 Sunoco Welcome America! Festival.
The day begins with the annual Independence Day Ceremony at Independence Hall with Philadelphia Mayor Michael A. Nutter presiding.
At noon, be sure to get your piece of birthday cake of Tastykakes at the Independence Visitor Center.
The Great Plaza at Penn's Landing hosts the annual Super Scooper All-You-Can-Eat Ice Cream Festival starting at noon and lasting until 6:00 p.m. How much ice cream can you eat in six hours?
At 2:00 p.m. bells all over the country will join the Liberty Bell in the annual Let Freedom Ring ceremony.
The Party on the Parkway also begins at 2:00 p.m. with plenty of music, entertainment and food. Make sure to get there early for a good spot to view the Southwest Airlines July 4th Parade which begins at 6:00 p.m.
The Sunoco Sweet Sounds of Liberty Concert & Fireworks follows the parade and features Philly's own Stylistics and five-time Grammy winner John Legend returns to Philly for an evening of smooth R&B followed by a colorful fireworks display above the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

The 2008 Sunoco Welcome America! Festival continues tomorrow, Thursday, with its biggest day yet!
Go 4th & Learn heads to the the Atwater Kent Museum where kids can time-travel through more than 300 years of Philadelphia history
The always popular Fiesta on the Parkway runs from 2:00-8:30 p.m. on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway.
In a public ceremony with Independence Hall as a backdrop, Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter will officiate over the nuptials of Benjamin Franklin and Betsy Ross - well at least their re-enactors. The wedding will be followed by one of Sunoco Welcome America!'s most popular traditions, Grammy Award-winning Peter Nero and the Philly Pops performing an evening of music in the shadows of Independence Hall.
The Philly @ the Movies moves to the Northeast Philadelphia Airport for a showing of
Harry Potter & the Order of the Phoenix.

The Philly @ the Movies film series has two afternoon showings of
The Bucket List at the Philadelphia Senior Center.
A new event
Cops and Kids: Turning the Corner takes part at the Police District Building at 17th Street and Montgomery Ave.
This evening Broad Street between Locust and Pines Streets comes alive with
Wednesday Night Out featuring fifteen talented Philly performers.
